Presentations FAQ

Hello, dolls!

Wondering where you can use HTML presentations like the ones we post? Well, they're tested & intended for use on Stardoll, but can also work on a few other sites including:

You might be wondering how to add some of the presentations from the blog to your Stardoll presentation. If that's the case, no worries! Below are a few video tutorials & explanations for any quick presentation-related questions that you might have!

DRAG & DROP PRESENTATION METHOD:

To easily transfer a presentation from CrazygemStardoll onto your doll's presentation. simply just use your mouse to highlight the presentation. Next, hold onto the presentation with your mouse, hover your mouse over the Stardoll tab, and when the page turns to the tab, simply just hover your mouse over the presentation editor and let go. After doing this, the presentation should have appeared in the editor on Stardoll. Now, edit it however you like!
Still confused? A quick video tutorial is shown above on the right.

COPY & PASTE PRESENTATION METHOD:

Although I'm more of a fan of the drag & drop method, the copy & paste method also works well. To add a presentation using the copy & paste method, simply copy and paste the code given under the presentation. Next, go into your Stardoll tab & paste in into the presentation editor. After that, click save. A little thing will probably pop up saying "This text is not allowed, since it contains personal information". It often pops up every time whenever using this method, but don't worry! As long as you have not added actual personal info, just ignore it & click save again. Finally, the presentation should appear.

How To Size A Presentation Down To Fit A Club's Presentation:

Don't let this tutorial intimidate you! It's much simpler than it looks.
First, open a new tab. You can either search for an HTML editor and choose one that first loads or just easily go to the one which I normally use, http://htmledit.squarefree.com/
Next, copy the code listed below the presentation that you've chosen to use & paste it into the editor. Simply edit the width of the presentation to about 430 px (pixels). Now, easily highlight the presentation in the editor & drag it onto your club's presentation!

How To Resize Photos In Chrome Or Firefox:

Trying to resize a photo on your presentation? In either browser, Chrome, or Firefox, simply right click the image that you'd like to resize, and select the option Inspect. A giant bar on either the side or the bottom of your screen should load. Somewhere in it, you should find a orange square, with a green rectangle inside along with a blue rectangle inside of that. In the blue rectangle, where there are a few numbers (similar to 400px x 430px or something), you can easily edit the numbers to size down the pictures, or make them bigger.
A video tutorial for doing this is also shown above!
